Changelog v0.13.0 — One screen per loop

2026-09-29·Releases

The game had grown one panel at a time, and it showed. Every screen did things its own way. This release rebuilds all of it on one visual system, and the layout now follows the three loops.

Three loops, three screens

The Overview screen is gone. /game drops you straight into Generate, and Generate, Evolve and Transcend each get their own screen. Press g, e or t to switch. On phones they sit in a bottom bar.

Each loop has its own accent colour: mist for Generate, mauve for Evolve, taupe for Transcend. It's a quiet way to tell which screen you're on.

A single strip under the app bar shows your Units and the next goal. It stays put while you scroll.

GENERATE

There's a button now. Tap GENERATE and you get 3% of your per-second output, or 1 unit if that's more. It counts up to 15 taps a second and ignores the rest, so it helps early on and never beats idling. Taps count toward lifetime units.

On desktop it's an orb next to your Units, and its ring fills toward the next goal. On phones it's a full-width bar.

Buying

The per-row buy ladder is gone. There's one selector above all the tiers, Buy: ×1 · ×10 · NEXT · MAX, and it sticks under the header while you scroll.

  • NEXT buys up to that producer's next milestone.
  • MAX buys as many as you can afford.
  • A purchase either happens in full or not at all. The bulk discount only applies when you buy more than one copy.

If you had ×100 selected, it becomes ×10.

Each producer row shows how many you own, progress to the next milestone, and its share of your real, multiplied output. The buy button shows the cost, and when you can't afford it yet, how long until you can. Collapse a tier and its header still shows that tier's units/sec and share of the total.

Evolve and Transcend

Evolve lays each improvement chain out as a column. Finished steps shrink to one line. The current step is a full card that shows the effect before and after. Locked steps list what they need. The donate action on a researching card is now one row: what you pay, and how much time it saves.

Transcend has a new panel: current Remnants, what you'd gain, and what resets versus what stays. It also shows the real remnant multiplier. The old panel showed a simpler formula that overstated the bonus later on.

Stats, Achievements, Settings

  • Stats opens with the headline numbers, lists every bonus (surplus and achievements included), and counts your taps.
  • Achievements shows what you've unlocked plus the next step of each chain. Everything further out is collapsed into a count.
  • Settings has a number format picker: Mixed (the default), Standard, Scientific or Engineering, each with a live preview. It's saved with your game and included in exports.

Fixes

  • Late in a run, the Generate screen could spend seconds pricing bulk buys. During the welcome-back catch-up that sometimes crashed the page. Bulk pricing is now much cheaper, and the catch-up runs at the game's tick rate instead of every frame.
  • Negative rates use suffixes: -3.58M/s, not -3579622/s.
  • A tier ascension that's in progress now reminds you that background production runs at 50% but the drain doesn't. Keep a buffer before you switch tabs.
  • Toasts sit bottom-right, out of the way of the controls.
  • Welcome back is a proper dialog.
  • Durations drop trailing zero units: 30m, not 30m 0s.

Saves

v0.12 saves carry over. The only thing that changes on load is ×100 becoming ×10.
